Our story
A school in the Comboni tradition
Comboni Secondary School Juba is a Catholic secondary school in the tradition of St Daniel Comboni and the missionaries who carry his name.
The Comboni Missionaries opened their first mission in what is now South Sudan in 1901, at Lul among the Shilluk, and have walked with the local Church ever since — through years of expulsion and war, and back to Juba after the 2005 peace agreement. Education has always been at the heart of that work, alongside pastoral care, health, and justice and peace.
We continue that story here in Juba: a community where faith and learning grow together, and where young people are prepared to serve South Sudan.
